Bollywood Brass Band
Ronak Mela Baja (which means Happy Party Band), have been providing British audiences with their unique brass band spectacular since their formation in 2004, based in London and the West Midlands their repertoire ranges from the more traditional Bollywood themes right up to the latest in Bhangra music. Their musical scores are of course delivered with a unique brass band twist and are a welcome addition to any wedding or event. Ronak Mela Baja consists of a percussion formation incorporating trumpet, French horn, trombones, tuba and percussion. The aforementioned instruments are complimented by a smattering of desi dhol and instrumentation in the ensemble; this ensures that all manner of audience remain entranced by the sounds and the sight that is Ronak Mela Baja. A popular and traditional function of the band is to perform during the wedding procession of the bridegroom and the guests towards the venue – this is called the ‘Bharrat’. Dil Se Strings is a classical ensemble which specialise in many styles of music, from the greatest classical compositions to the latest Bollywood and Bhangra melodies, basically something for everyone!
